Event | Marlon and Jam Wedding

This is my second wedding with full participation (entourage and preparation).

I met Jam from work she handles the cable show so we talk all the time. Doing the convention for four years we created a bond outside our work. Jam is older than me and yet I don’t address her as “ate” haha

When she planned the marriage a year ago I never thought she would get me as a bridesmaid. Normally people close to you will get the roles of such things and I am very happy she chose me.

She then asked me to do her prenuptial makeup but because of busy schedule it never happened. From time to time she’ll ask me about ideas and sometimes my approval for different elements.

I end up doing layouts for her table numbers and guest book.

I also became the wedding day helper (should I exclaim savior!!!!) during the big day. [I maneuvered her makeup and assisted her all the way — long story]

The ceremony was graced last 19th October 2013 at the UP Holy Parish of Sacrifice followed by a reception in Grand Terraces in Commonwealth, Quezon City.

It was a swift and sweet traditional ceremony.

Jam was very hands on and all her hard work really paid off. I am really glad to be part of her momentous occasion.

As for my OOTD and FOTD, here it goes.

I wore a blue dress, I painted my nails powder blue, wore minimal makeup (because I was running late), put my hair up, and paired it with a nude heel. The bride requested not to overpower her (she has the right, it’s her wedding) HAHA

The sun adored me because my skin looked radiant, unfortunately the cam has no AF and le bf cannot use MF properly (poor him, haha).

A messy updo – I curled my hair and pinned it around. I don’t like my hair flying around and I sweat easily. I am sure I will mess up so I tamed my hair beforehand. I wish I had little hair accessories to glam up the look.

I hope I looked okay that day because I could not rewind it. haha

I am excited for weddings I have four friends’ wedding lined up towards the end of the year and early next year. I will be the host, MUA, and their wedding planner, my job makes me explore things and I am ecstatic about it (of course one task, one wedding, I am not super woman).

*happy sigh*
