Hello Saturday!

I supposed to attend a wealth seminar today but my friend Gen of genzelkisses is sick, get well soon sissy.

So I am heading to clinica manila (for the nth time) to see my OB-Sonologist and have my TV ultrasound again. They need to see if my PCOS changed over time.

I visited a good friend last Saturday to check out their mini studio. They are in YouTube uploading hilarious videos (check them out). They are both good in video editing as well.

So I told my friend Marga if I can shoot trial tutorials in their place and try if I can apply the same set up in my room.

They painted one corner of their apartment white and placed three lights above plus two more in front. They have a white bulb and two fluorescent for the top light and then six fluorescent light for the left and right lights.

I forgot to photograph their DIY lightings but it was a work of a genius. One should invest money, time, and effort in order to create a masterpiece.

White backgrounds give superb results on photos and videos.

Making YouTube videos is a non-stop learning of technology and other stuff.

I will try to make my vanity area full of lights.

And then we shot my YT video.

Here are some snapshots.

They used Sony Nex-5 to take photos and videos. We tried a quick brow tutorial as well as my everyday makeup look. 

I wish I could learn how to pose looking pretty on photos.

Of course I won’t leave the house without trying a makeup look to my friend. We browsed an image in Google and I recreated it.

I received comments that this makeup was awful. I do not know why, maybe I am not good putting makeup on other people at all or maybe the concept is ugly.

It looks abstract according to some.

Despite those comments I had a great time last Saturday and I am looking forward bonding with friends as often as we can.

I was trying my Cherimoya Liner last night (check review here) and I made swirls around my right eye but I looked boring so I grabbed my cream bases and fill in the spaces. I set it with eye shadows afterwards.

I have my lamp shade focus in front of me that’s why the shimmer reflected back the light to the camera. The purple shadow was outshined.

I covered my other eye because it’s blank. LOL

This is my second makeup video attempt and I do not have my editing tools that I used to have way back in college. I was thinking to do a voice over but my dog Alex is keep on barking.

As for the whole makeup, we can never go wrong with pinks and purples. This great for a day and night look, to transform it to night, you just have to intensify the outer corners by adding black shadow and black eyeliner on the waterline as well.

Maybe next time I should practice on full coverage for the face and brows because I appear pale in front of the camera.

Oh well, practice makes perfect. Once my room is settled I will reserve a corner for makeup filming.
