It has been months since I have updated you guys with my PCOS Journey. My last update was about my last period which happened last March. I also ended my food description and messed up my diet once again.
The past six months was an emotional and physical whirlwind. Now that I am back on my feet. I’ve been seeking a holistic approach for my overall health.
What is Auriculotherapy?
Auriculotherapy is a technique of using the points on the skin of the auricle (external ear) to diagnose and treat pain and medical conditions of the body. It is non-invasive and virtually free of side effects.
How does it work?
Specific points of on the ear have been mapped for the treatment of specific problem. These points when stimulated often have a positive on the body.
It starts by scanning and stimulating the points on the ear. Afterwards, seeds will be placed for the next 3-5 days.
It doesn’t hurt at all and they use a skin tone adhesive to conceal the seeds. It is very comfortable even if they used an electronic stimulator.
What can Auriculotherapy treat?
It is most commonly used for pain control, addiction, cravings, weight loss, mental or emotional problems and even infertility.
My Auriculotherapy Experience
I am getting my Auriculotherapy at My Z Spa in Pasig. This is my second week. The points stimulated for me are:
- Shen men – the master point for anxiety, stress, depression, insomnia, pain, addiction and detoxification.
- Uterus / Ovaries
- Heart / Master Cerebral
- Adrenal / Pituitary Gland
- Weight Loss / Cravings
- Neck and Shoulder
I almost forgot that I have seeds on my ears. The only side effect that I have noticed is I became really sleepy.
I find it hard to fight my sleepiness. I have no visible results yet but I look forward to having a positive response from my body.
