I heard a lot of rave about this product and out of curiosity I bought it.
First impression: I love the packaging so much. Benefit is known for their retro/vintage / fabulous product names, for this product art is like a military woman, armed for war, which in this case, armed to make your makeup last longer.
About
- Double action as primer & makeup during the day.
- Contains Vitamin E derivative know to protect skin from free radicals
- Includes Pore Zapping Ray Gun (cool huh?)
How to use
Apply this silky, lightweight formula to reduce the appearance of pores and fine lines for smoother-than-smooth skin.
To use under makeup: Apply to moisturized skin to help makeup stay put. Focus on the problem areas & blend with fingertips.
To use over makeup: Pat on lightly over makeup & blend.
I bought the limited edition 44 ml as the benefit lady told me that I can save more if I purchased this and she’ll give product samples of Pore-fessional. For two months now I can say that my tube is still full.
So what did I experience?
It’s my first time to use a tinted primer. It’s really lightweight and my skin becomes really silky. My foundation and BB Cream glide smoothly after I used this as my base. The only problem I had with this some liquid products react and the porefessional tend to dirt (if I used the right phrase).
The smell is really nice, but for more visible pores you will need a lot of product. The tint has no coverage by the way, but it mattifies the face once set.
I noticed my foundation did not go off immediately and I stayed shine free for hours.
I haven’t tried it over makeup yet, but I was told that if you are getting oily, this product will remove the shine.
Now I know why everyone raved about this product, I too fell in love with it.
Some will find it pricey, yes it is, but I say it’s worth it.
I will give this product a rating of 4 out 5 (just because of the price)
I am really sorry if I don’t post very often ladies, I will be back on track I promise.
SAMMY
I actually haven’t tried any Benefit products yet since they’re quite pricey, but I think I’ll look into the Pore-fessional Primer. Lalo na among make-up products, I find primers and foundations the most important. 🙂 By the way, how much pala is the Benefit Pore-fessional Primer? Thanks Sam!
Sumi, I lost the receipt. haha but it ranges from 1k – 2k. 🙂
This is one of my favorite primers too! 🙂
I like how it makes pores disappear but I find it a tad oily… if it were more matte I’d buy the full-sized tube.
I noticed that too. 🙂
I’m a fan of this primer, too! Pricey, yes. But you get your money’s worth naman. 🙂
mukha naman matagal siya maubos. hehe 🙂
Great review sam! I kinda wonder now how it compares with other primers like the UV underbase from Shu Uemura or the oil free primer from laura mercier… I have an idea… how about a comparison of primers maybe? Diba you have the Elf mineral primer? 🙂
Missed your posts!

I only have 4 primers now. haha I will try to do a research. 🙂
