Coastal Scents Revealed 2 Palette

Cheers for my new palette. I saw a Facebook feed from a cyber friend, Patty and I immediately inquired about her merchandise. She has lots of Revealed 2 palette and while stocks are plenty I reserved one.

She lived in Laguna but she agreed to meet me at SM Megamall to let go of the shipping charges. It is completely wrapped with bubble wrap and a thoughtful birthday greeting! Awww

When I opened it. I did not receive just the palette I ordered, but some makeup freebies too.

There’s an Anatasia Dip Brow Sample, Glory of New York Eyebrow Pencil, and FS single eyeshadow.

Now on to the palette…

I’ve known coastal scents for several generic palettes. I believe most of the palettes here are patterned after coastal scents palette. I would say that the Revealed line is similar to the Naked line of Urban Decay.

Unlike common palettes in the market this one is cardboard.

It has 20 shadows (16 shimmer/satin, 4 mattes) the first row is definitely for day makeup while the second row is more on the fall/winter night makeup up.

The design is sleek, it could fit my everyday purse; but it doesn’t have its own mirror and own brush.

Looking at it closely, it seems pretty compact. Some shadows tend to be chalky while others are perfect. Each shadows have no name so you can describe it on how you perceived it. My favorite would be the matte cranberry shadow. Without a primer, the shadows are indeed pigmented and the fallouts are minimal.

As for the price, I do not know the actual price of this, but I got it for P950 around US$20 dollars, not bad for a 20-piece flexible colors. I haven’t seen the original version of this, but I must say this is the neutral romantic version.
