It seems like ages since I posted FOTD. It’s been a month since we welcomed 2013 and many beauty gurus out there already featured the color the year – Emerald in their looks. Here’s my take on it.
I was inspired by the “Oh so Emerald” Makeup contest in Jannie’s blog and I was too late to send my entry.
“Lively. Radiant. Lush… A color of elegance and beauty
that enhances our sense of well-being, balance and harmony.”
I decided to mix green with black to make it look more elegant. If I mixed this with other shades of green I will look like a forest fairy and that’s not the look that I want.
The black I used it very pigmented so it looked smoky.
For the face I tried the two color foundation and the result is good.
I contoured my face using my dark pressed powder.
And I mixed three lip colors to achieve the lips.
Since I saw a bird while doing my makeup, I ended up going around the house and take some photos. You may check my blog post here to see the photos I took.
My new haircut doesn’t favor me so I will wait if my digiperm will agree with my whole look.
