I just finished the primary meeting for the annual event and I am heading to Boracay next week. Now I need to draft posts because I do not want to be absent here. (It seems that my daily blog post became my attendance, hihi)

Anyway, today I am going to share this mask that swept off my feet.

I am talking about the Garnier Oil Clear Self-Heating Sauna Mask • P49.00 • WATSONS

The reason I bought this was because of the ‘Self Heating’ line in it. We knew a lot of mask in the market – mud mask, clay mask, sheet mask (most common), peel off mask, and the like. Each of them specializes on different skin type conditions you just have to find what’s best for you.

This Garnier comes in two sachets and one sachet is good for two uses.

Once the product touches the skin it will generate a self-heating action. It contains Zinc and clay to remove excess oil, unclog the pores, remove impurities, and refines the skin texture.

This product also claims to make your skin deeply cleansed and looks shine-free.

How to use:

Apply gently on the T-Zone (forehead, nose, and chin). Leave for 3-minutes, then rinse off. Suitable for oily to combination skin. Use once or twice a week.

The color is pale blue and it has a pleasant smell. The smell is similar to other Garnier products.

The consistency is almost watery. It is not as thick as most clay mask out there.

Although the instruction says – T-Zone only I feel like using it on my entire face.

It will not dry like other mask also so whether it is still wet you need to rinse it off. The product clearly states to rinse it off after three minutes.

Self Heating Sauna…

It DOES heats on its own. You will sweat while you have this on your face.

It does not sting but it is hot.

Eventually the heat will come off after several minutes and that is the signal that it should be rinse off.

The Thumbs Up

  1. Affordable. For only P49 it is good for four (4) uses already.
  2. Non-drying
  3. Easy to rinse
  4. Gives a soft squeaky clean feeling
  5. Amazing self heating sauna capability
  6. Dries out minor zits
  7. Makes the skin matte

I don’t see any aspects why I should dislike this product. I just hope it will come in a tub or tube next time. Open-mouthed smile

Garnier is one my trusted skin care brand.

What mask do you use? Is it included in your skin care routine?

SAMMY xx
