I was really busy this past few weeks and some weekends (even week nights) became a baking party. Le bf said that he feel relaxed when we bake. Since I have a new mixer (from a raffle draw) I said why not?
I searched for basic how-to of such dessert and Mr. Google did wonders. I sometimes over measured (or under measured some ingredients) but hey my colleagues love them.
Brownies
It’s chewy and so moist! The chocolate chips just melts and the sweetness is just right.
Ingredients: Butter, Flour, Eggs, baking Soda, Brown Sugar, Semi-sweet chocolate
Oatmeal Muffins
This was supposed to be a cookie but I don’t have a baking tray with me so I user what’s available – muffin tray. I filled each cup generously so it became muffin.
Ingredients: Butter, Eggs, Washed Sugar, Cream, Flour, Baking Soda, Oats
Chocolate Chip Cookies / Huge Crinkles
My sister-in-law requested for this and though I just guessed the ingredients and procedure (top secret), it turned out well. Crunchy outside, soft and moist outside.
Ingredients: Butter, Flour, Eggs, Brown Sugar, Powdered Sugar, cocoa powder, semi sweet chocolate
Revel Bar
Among which, this is my best seller because I received an order for this. There is a famous Revel Bar store found in Tagaytay and we missed it so we copied it. Oohh, really the best.
Ingredients: Oats, Flour, Butter, Eggs, Washed Sugar, Cashew Nuts, baking soda, condensed milk, semi sweet chocolate.
Tips:
- Always pre heat the oven.
- Do not overmix
- Mix the wet and dry ingredients separately
- Use baking butter or margarine
- Use a timer
- Let it rest and be completely cool before serving
I am not a professional baker but my tounge loves me that I can taste what’s delicious. I am enjoying to bake so expect to see more.
