Makeup | Jordana Oil-Free Liquid Foundation

Beauty & Style

Happy Friday! I am hurrying to get home (to Laguna) so I can  film the two queued giveaways I have. Today I will give my impression on the most inexpensive liquid foundation I ever bought.

Jordana Liquid Foundation

US$ 1.99 | 29.6 ML

I am talking about this Jordana Oil Free Liquid Foundation that I purchased from The Dollar Store for only PhP99.00, I was just looking for a hair spray and then I saw this on the bottom rack. I checked the color and without hesitation I bought it.

Jordana is a cosmetic brand from the USA. It is not yet officially here in the Philippines except for Dollar Stores who has some of their products like nail polishes and eyeliners. I picked Tan & Tawny.

Jordana Liquid

So I can contour and highlight using liquid products. I like doing that technique because it looks more natural than the powder technique.

Let’s take a look of the shades I picked closer.

Jordana Swatch-2

For my skin tone both colors look perfect. Tawny has a yellow undertone while Tan has red.

When blended it looks like that.

Thoughts

Though the ingredients above look very intimidating I was surprised to see water as its main ingredient; that is also the reason the product is watery. When applied you will feel that it is cool and it’s easily spread all over the face. The drying time is admirable too. The coverage is just enough to even out your skin tone but you will need to spot conceal stubborn blemishes. The finish is dewy which gives you a healthy glow but you can always set it with a powder if you prefer matte.

The smell is okay too, almost odorless.

The only thing that I don’t like about the product is the packaging.

JordanaThough the transparency of the bottle is perfect for you too see product color… Since it is watery the usage could be messy… A pump or a spatula is a foolproof for this product. I already over poured the product and ended up returning it to the bottle.

I saw that they already have another foundation with the pump but the colors are limited compared to this one but almost the same.

Other shades available

shades-jordanaI want to get Caramel Bronze and Toast for contour again. haha

Some FOTD using the product.

For budget friendly babes out there and you want a decent foundation that you can build the coverage this one is for you. Go to Dollar Store now and see for yourself. I wish Jordana will be here in the Philippines.
