Beauty & Style

I miss everyone, really. It’s been weeks since I post a normal beauty related stuff and I have tons of drafts now. I cannot finish a post when I am caught with other things to do. Currently I weigh a dozen responsibility and with my job at stake, I need to set priorities. Of course, the beauty junkie in me will never go away so here I am.

Maybelline recently sent me their new foundation – Dream Liquid Mousse in Classic Ivory (Light 2). Along with this package is a challenge where I will show you gals how to make an airbrushed finished.

This is the best-selling foundation of Maybelline as this is the quickest and easiest way to do an airbrushed makeup finish. It is available in six gorgeous shades namely Sandy Beige, Classic Ivory, Nude, Nude Beige, Honey Beige, and Natural Beige. The six colors range they have matches at least 80% of Filipina skin color.

This costs P599 in beauty stores nationwide (P799 with duo fiber brush limited stocks only) which is almost 7% inexpensive than an actual airbrush machine. Most of the time we scout airbrushed makeup when there is an occasion to attend (weddings, début, anniversaries…) name it, any occasion that requires a long-lasting, sweat, tears proof makeup. But since this came out in the market, we could totally sport an airbrush makeup everyday! Amazing, right?

So let us see if this will give me an airbrushed finished.

Looking closely at the photos above, you will notice that I have pigmentations on eyes, nose, and cheek area. I applied it half way to see the difference.

In an instant the other half of my face looks glowy and it evened out my skin.

After applying it all over my face look what happened.

My skin really looks flawless and brighter. Of course the zit bumps are there, but the coverage it gave for a single pump is 90% full coverage. I didn’t apply concealer here, but I added more product on my problem areas. I even tried it with a flash to see what will happen.

It became more gorgeous.
To tell you achieving this look is very easy. Just follow these steps.

Simple, right? All you have to do, is really, pump and stipple.

This foundation is surprisingly lightweight and it blends perfectly as it dries. The stippling brush (duo fiber brush) definitely helped me make the effect.

Below is a quick video how I finished applying the foundation.

There you go gals, I hope I gave justice in achieving the airbrush effect that this foundation claims. It is really good for everyday use.

Let me know what do you think of this product by rating it below. I enabled the user ratings.
