Novuskin Lift – Second Month Update

A post shared by Sam Lanuza-Adea (@dishysammy) on

From my post – Coming off the Pill Novuskin Lift became my rescue supplement to at least fight the withdrawal symptoms that I will have after stopping synthetic hormones/birth control for my PCOS. I am paranoid that my acne will go back, my facial hair will going to be thicker again and in general, I am freaking out to be ugly.

It’s normal when you have seen the benefits of a good skin from using the pills but what calmed me is that nutrition and overall health will give you the result that you wanted.

My skin looked brighter and I do not have massive breakouts. I do have pimples and facial hair but it is not as “ugly” looking as it is when I was still in college. My overall skin appearanced look healthier as if I am really nourished from within.

My hair fall lessened too, before I can cover a brush bed with my hair and I can get hair just from finger-combing my hair. Now I can count how many hair fall I am getting throughout the day.

What makes Novuskin Lift special?

Also in my previous post, when I was just trying them. I have mentioned the different nutrients packed in each tablet of Novuskin Lift. Let us uncover each ingredient and how it benefits our overall health.

Marine Fish Collagen

It is considered as the best collagen source for its bioavailability. Collagen promotes skin repair, wrinkle reduction, and improves the overall appearance of the skin – young and smooth.

You will noticed that as you get older doctors might prescibe collagen supplements as it also good for your joint health. At least that what I saw in my mom, for her sciatica recovery.

Collagen is also found in supplement drinks.

Yeast Extract

When we hear yeast, we know it is for baking, little that we know it also good for the skin. Yeast extract has complex mix of proteins, sugar, and amino acid which helps reduce the appearance of dark spots and hyperpigmentation. It also boost collagen production and contributes to the overall brigthtening of the skin.

Grapeseed Extract

I have known grapeseed since I was a child. There used to be an extract supplement being sold and my parents used to give me 3-5 drops of it as my supplement.

Grapeseed extract is rich in anti-oxidant that promotes healthy skin and it is anti-aging too.

Is this why red wine is also good for the health? LOL

Horsetail Extract

First time to meet this actually, it looks like a Chinese medicinal herb for me. Horsetail has silica and anti-oxidant agents for a wrinkle free skin.  It is used to heal burns and wounds on the skin as well as promotes overall health of our bladder and kidney.*

*No backup study, please ask your doctor.

L-Glutathione

The fame of glutathione never died down because it is the master anti-oxidant of all. Glutathione is naturally produced by our body, but since we do not get the max nutrients that we need every single day, supplements were invented to compensate for it.

Glutathione prevents damage to cells caused by free radicals and other toxins inside our body. It also improves the appearance of the skin making it brighter and healthy.

Broccoli here is high in Glutathione. You can also eat beets, kale, spinach, garlic, brussel sprouts, and other veggies rich in sulfur.

Taking all necessary nutrients

You see to support our overall health we need to eat all food mentioned above. It is still incomplete as there other important nutrients that we need. It is overwhelming to go to the grocery just to eat them all. Our personal taste might not like those certain food too.

Thanks to science we can still reap the benefits of all the nutrients.

Just a disclaimer, always consult your physician before getting supplements. You might be allergic to something or some will not work for you if you a specific health condition.

Moreover, take care of your skin not just for its physical appearance but for your overall health. In the end, our skin looks really better if our overall health is better.
