I am really happy to write another product review. I was really skeptical when this product came out as I don’t have a good skin relationship with Maybelline. I gave it a pass but when I saw this in SASA last year, I picked it up.

On contact, translucent gel melts on skin and pores instantly erase pores, imperfections, lines, and creases. Skin looks instantly transformed into a perfect smooth canvass.
ALL DAY
Compare to the silicone base primer of Elf this one is slightly thicker but it doesn’t feel greasy and heavy on the skin.
According to its description, it’s true that it covers lines and pores.
As for the imperfections, since this is translucent it doesn’t cover any dark spots and pimples.
What I like about it is that it makes the foundation glides smoother and yes, it helps the foundation adhere longer on the skin.
No breakouts for me even if I used it everyday with my Covergirl outlast foundation.
This is the handy primer we could all have and pair with our favorite foundation. It’s pretty affordable too – PHP 249 in our local stores plus it’s cute in its mint green tube.
I have to say this one is the best product Maybelline ever launched.
By the way I saw a brightening primer in a pink tube in Sasa, I wonder when it will come out in the Philippines.

Thank you so much for this review! Medyo takot na ako ngayon sa primer ever since I tried the Photo Ready one, which made me break out like crazy! But I really want to find a good one that can help my foundation last longer…. I think I’ll try this one na lang. Since it’s pretty affordable, it’s okay to take the risk right? Hehe 🙂

Since this came out, I’ve been considering trying it out, but I wanted to finish my Benefit Porefessional first before anything–especially since I’m very happy with my Porefessional. However, I always end up with a new tube! So til now di ko pa to na-try. Hopefully soon. I think it’s a good alternative.
Maybe I should try the Benefit porefessional, it came out first. 🙂
