Aren’t your taste buds looking for a new flavor of ice cream?
My taste bud has. I got tired of the good old cookies and creams, rocky road, double Dutch, buko salad, fruit selections, and sorbetes. I am looking for a kick, something different, and this ice cream made by my uncle, Francisco Magsaysay (Oh yes I am claiming it, I have Pantaleon/Labrador/Magsaysay in my blood haha) fulfilled the kick I was looking for.
I am talking about his Carmen’s Best Ice Cream – Homemade artisanal ice cream uses 100% pure cow’s milk, delivered fresh everyday from our Real Fresh Dairy Farms, Inc. to our Kitchen, straight to you.
This promise of all-natural, farm fresh goodness produces a higher cream content than most other ice creams.
We also take pride that we use only the best and the finest ingredient from all over the world.
Our variety of flavors will treat your taste buds to vanilla beans from Tahiti, cocoa powder from Switzerland, mal powder from England or Turon de Jjijona from Spain.
Freshness, creaminess, and only the best…
Carmen’s Best… for you.
Do I need to say more?
I enjoyed a good lunch today because of this ice cream, I thank Engr. Joseph Arguelles, one of my favorite engineers (I find engineers handsome, intelligent, and funny *biased opinion*), for bringing the four best sellers and had it passed around the table. This is my second time to indulge with this.
Today we had… (in my most delicious order)
- Butter Pecan
- Brazilian Coffee
- Salted Caramel
- Malted Milk
From the flavors itself you know it’s one of a kind. According to Sir Joseph we won’t find the usual flavors in Carmen’s, if we want the common then buy the common.
It’s between light and creamy. Light because it has no air in it, what you see is what you get. You have a left over and decided to eat the rest tomorrow you’ll still have the “freshly-made” flavor. Creamy not because of the texture but the taste, it almost have the same texture as gelato but tastes so creamy. You knew from the first spoon that it is made from 100% cow’s milk.
You’ll never get enough of it. This ice cream will not make you feel that your head will explode after a cup, you still want more.
I know this is an ice cream and too much of this is not good for our health but who can’t resist right?

My favorites are Malted Milk and Salted Caramel… tried them the first time last year at a food fair in Podium. Sooo good!
I also used to buy their Holly’s Chocolate Milk, but sadly they are not available at Santi’s anymore.
Yes they were in Podium last year. You want the Milk? I have direct contact with the but they might opt to deliver it to me. haha
I’ve discovered Carmen’s last year at one of the food events in Podium and I instantly loved their Malted Milk and Salted Caramel. I also featured it on my blog. 🙂 I also used to buy their creamy Holly’s Chocolate Milk too bad it’s unavailable at Santi’s near our place.
