Wrong shade of pressed powder? No problem.

Beauty & Style

I know you are sad because it’s Monday again tomorrow but do not fret because I have good stuff for you to read.

Ever bought a liquid foundation and its corresponding powder? I did.

Unfortunately the pressed powder is not the right shade for me.

I consumed the liquid foundation already and I still have the powder, so what should I do?

See how dark it is for my skin?

At first I thought about the money I wasted for this. Then I returned to the store and I asked if I could exchange it for the shade that is suitable for me.

They refused to exchange it because I already opened the packaging.

Then I looked for a friend who can wear this shade but this friend of mine didn’t show up.

I do not like to let this sit inside my drawer.

I thought of a solution for me to maximize my mistake.

Since pressed powders have matte finished I turned this product into my bronzer and contour powder.

What a brilliant idea isn’t it?

This shade gives me a natural cheek bone and nose contour.

It is not a waste of money after all.

So if you happen to buy a wrong shade of powder, do what I did.

BUT check the tester first before buying, especially if you are acidic.

Winking smileWhat do you think of this trick? Let me know below.
