Review | Avon 8-in-1 E/S Palette

Beauty & Style ETC

Avon 8in1 PaletteI am really excited about this palette. I’ve been following other Avon products abroad and I keep on bugging my dad why Philippines don’t have more than four eyeshadows.

This month my wish came true, I open up the November 16 – 30, 2013 brochure and I jumped upon seeing it. Avon was so generous to let me have all three variants being one of their Makeup Councils.

The size of the palette is very handy and it comes with a mirror too. It comes with two small sponge applicator but I would be more happy if they give a dual-ended synthetic brush instead.

Here are some things that I noticed:

  • There is color redundancy between the three palettes.
  • The color division is not equal. It could be 2 highlights, 4 lid color, and 2 creases/outer V color
  • I cannot say that there is really a matte color because you will see a hint of shimmer in them. They are more on the satin finish
  • Some color could be powdery/chalky

I mentioned the things above because I have other palettes already and I am looking for something that is more flexible for travel purposes.

If it is your first time to have more one e/s in one palette, I would suggest to get ‘the blues’. It is simple yet edgy you can play with it because the colors really compliments a lot of skin tone. Please stay tuned on my YouTube Channel and my blog, of course as I collaborate with my other Avon Makeup Council and create looks using these palettes.
