Hello everyone,
How is your Friday going? Are you feeling the weekend?
Today’s Lip of the Day will be the five Avon Lipstick first featured in my Lippie Overload Post. Hazel and Nicole were curious about these Avon Lipstick that I own so I am giving a brief review for each one of them.
Swatches first.
1. Avon Shine Attract Lipstick – Fuchsia Flare
This is what Anne Curtis is endorsing now.
It’s pigmented and provides enough shine BUT difficult to apply since the color is in the center. I think it should be the other way around. More color bullet than the collagen bullet.
I should have got the red so that I justified if it will appear like Anne Curtis.
2. Avon Glazewear Lipstick – Juicy Apricot
I got this one when I was searching for a tangerine shade.
Very sheer and glossy, it’s a little sticky too. I don’t use this very often especially when my lips are dry, ugh disaster.
It was not even “orangey” when I applied it. I like the packaging though very sleek.
3. Avon 24K Gold Lipstick – Golden Rose
I received a lot of compliment whenever I wear this. I almost consume it, look!
It glides smoothly, smells nice, and you’ll see bits of gold in the bullet. My dad said they used true gold.
See the gold dust? For me it’s a little metallic. Too bad it’s not long wearing.
3. Ultra Rich Moisture Lipstick – Fuchsia Fever
Reese Witherspoon was the one who endorsed this product.
This is my personal favorite among all the AVON lipstick I had/have. Moisturizing, pigmented, and lasts longer compared to others. It is not matte nor glossy, very creamy. I like the marble detail in the bullet.
It’s a little darker in natural light. My lamp shade last night diffused the color. It’s available it different shades, I like all of them. I recommend this lipstick if you are planning to buy.
4. Avon Simply Pretty Color Bliss Lipstick – Red Blossoms
This one was launch during Valentine last year, buy 1 get 1. I actually melted the other one and placed it on my contacts’ container.
It is heart-shaped. Pigmented and creamy, I like this lipstick too. You can use it as a stain and will give you a natural looking red lips. I used this on my previous FOTD (click to redirect). This time I swiped it generously.
I am starting to think that I should apply my lipstick using a lip brush for more precise application. I am not sure if it’s still available because Jasmin Curtis-Smith launched the revamp of the Simply Pretty Line.
So there you go, I hope I gave you an idea what to get the next time you contact your Avon Lady. I still have other Avon Makeups to review so stay tuned.
By the way if you wish to order AVON you can contact me, I will give 20% discount on all products.
Happy Friday to all!
SAMMY xx
