Two weeks ago when I replenished my Celeteque stocks I notice that they have this photographic skin test. I asked the SA if she could perform the test on me and she agreed.
My skin care regimen is full of Celeteque products – facial wash, toner, facial scrub, and moisturizer – now as I find them effective.
After taking photos of my skin under a bright light,
The result of my skin was…
Your skin type is dry, with a lack of sebum and moisture. As your skin is thinner, development of pigmentation is very likely. Sign of fine lines, wrinkles, loss of elasticity, loss of firmness, and dryness are present.
Status of each test factor:
Sebum: Little
Pore: Normal
Wrinkle: Thick
Pigmentation: Normal
It was advised that I need to have an intensive skin care for wrinkles, sebum, and pigmentation. My hormones have something to do with occasional breakouts that I have and as it dries out it leaves a dark pimple mark.
I am currently using their Acne Solutions line alongside with their brightening line.
Acne does not apply to oily skin also, look at my skin it’s dry but I have pimples on my cheek and I also have sensitive skin.
There are specific formula of moisturizers depending on your skin needs.
So far these are what I have used. (L-R) Acne Solutions – Acne Clearing Facial Moisturizer Gel, Sun Care Matte Moisturizer SPF 30, Hydration Facial Moisturizer with Triple Moisturizing System
My first purchased was the Sun Care but I find it too thick and greasy when applied. So I looked for another variant that will make skin breathe and feel lighter, Hydration, this one is my favorite because it is water based and it glide smoothly and dries out faster. I apply it every morning before sunscreen and makeup. It will not become watery throughout the day. This is my favorite moisturizer ever. Since I am treating breakouts I used the Acne Clearing Facial Moisturizing Gel at night. This should be applied after the spot clearing gel.
For this particular moisturizer it’s a bit thicker compare to the hydration moisturizer. It smells like a medicine too. It’s a little sticky at first but once it dries it’s silky smooth. Though this is an acne solutions you’ll not feel any stinging sensation over your pimples.
I promise to give full review on these moisturizers.
What I learned about skin care is discipline. If you are always out or always wearing makeup, there’s no excuse for not cleaning and taking good care of our skin. It also right to eat a balance diet, get enough sleep, exercise, and drink plenty of water. It sounds cliché but it is really true, your skin will improve if you change your lifestyle.
As for me I need to visit my OB-Gynecologist again and do something about my imbalance hormones. I cannot always depend on meds right?
And I will sleep early, walk more, and drink more water.
How well do you take care of your skin?
